BETTER FUNCTION By opening perpendicular to the flow of process fluids, the Dilating Disk™ Valve requires much less operating torque than other control valves; reducing actuator size and energy requirements. The proprietary design of the Dilating Disk™ Valve’s bonnet and stem leads to zero fugitive emissions when compared to “low emissions” globe valves, while eliminating the need for packing adjustments in the field.

MAIN BENEFITS:

-Lower pneumatic consumption (instrument air or process gas) for the valve actuation.

-Lower torque requirements for the valve actuators.

-Lower pressure drop for the same control valve capacity.

-Higher Cv for the same size of valves.

-The valve control element is designed and manufactured as a sort of cartridge.

-In DDV there is not ice formation as happens sometimes in standard globe control valve.
